Crop Farming

WAAF is embarking on yam, beans, onion, corn and groundnut farming in the Northern region and pineapple farming in the eastern region of Ghana . This again allows for own consumption of products by the farmers themselves and their communities whilst some of the proceeds are sold to bring in some cash for expansion as well as for self sufficiency.

WAAF will continue to look for ways to get assistance in this area as we are very much aware that this will need expansion based on the successful experience achieved on pilot basis.
